Step: 1
Mice climb up the provided ramp toward the bait located inside of the tunnel.
Step: 2
Mice will walk over the counter weighted plank in an attempt to reach the bait.
Step: 3
Once the mouse displaces half it's weight over the center point, the plank will flip forward, capturing the mouse.
Step : 4
The plank will then automatically reset for another mouse to enter.

- Does it only work for rats and mice?
You can catch any type of small rodent as long as you use the right bait.
- What to do with a bucket full of rats?
If you want the trap to be lethal, simply fill the bucket halfway with water. Otherwise, leave it alone, and after each capture, release it somewhere far from your home. Let nature do the rest.
- Doesn't the bait fall with the mouse? Would you have to reload every time?
You don't put any bait in the slide and the slide (vane). The bait, peanut butter, is placed at the bottom of the "tunnel." This way, the balance between the slide and the slide is not disturbed, and the bait remains in place over time.
